Fragile makes one thing: toilet paper, for the way bathrooms in this country actually work.
Almost every bathroom in the UAE has a shattaf. Water does the cleaning; paper does the drying. That sounds like a small distinction and it changes everything about what the paper needs to do. It is used wet, every time. Wet strength is the property that matters, and softness — the thing every tissue brand advertises — describes a condition the paper is barely ever in.
Nearly everything sold here is made for a market that doesn't work this way. Soft, cheap, and it comes apart in your hand.
So we made the other thing. Three-ply, unscented, virgin pulp, engineered to hold together while damp and then break down properly once it's gone. In three finishes chosen to sit in a considered bathroom rather than interrupt one.
On the name
It's a joke about shipping labels, and it's also the point. This is a product people handle every day and think about never. We thought about it.
On what we won't do
No fragrance. Perfume in tissue sits against skin and is usually there to cover for the paper. We'd rather the paper were good.
No claims we can't stand behind. Where a competitor does something better than us — and on environmental impact, bamboo genuinely does — we say so.
